“A voice for the region, from the sea to soil”

About Me

I'm not a career politician. I am a worker, a mother and a local who understands what it means to build a life in this region from the ground up. I have spent years in the seafood and export industry working with fishers, farmers, truckies and small business owners who keep our economy alive.

My life has been shaped by early mornings on the wharf, long drives across the Peninsula and the quiet pride that comes from seeing hard work feed a community.

When I see the decisions coming out of Parliament I keep wondering how many of those voices have ever faced the challenges we deal with in smaller communities; things like unreliable transport, neglected infrastructure and the higher cost of living that comes with life outside the big cities. Our region deserves more than distant promises. It deserves someone who has lived it, breathed it and wants to protect it.

“We live the life most politicians only talk about. It is time our region had a voice that truly understands it.”

Priorities

Industry

Our industries are the backbone of regional life. Whether it is seafood, trades or tourism, these are the sectors that keep money flowing through our towns. I will fight to secure investment that supports local jobs and keeps decisions close to home.

Farming

Farming and fishing share the same DNA; hard work, risk and deep respect for land and sea. I will push for fair freight routes, a strong voice in environmental and trade policy and decisions that are never made without the people who rely on them.

“Farming and fishing are two sides of the same coin. Both need a government that listens and respects how we live.”

Rail and transport

It is time to take a serious look at bringing rail freight back to the Eyre Peninsula. This is not just nostalgia, it is smarter planning. It means fewer heavy trucks, safer roads and longer lasting infrastructure. I want a transport plan that works for everyone, not written by people who have never driven our highway.

Community youth & crime

Strong communities start with strong opportunities for young people. When we give kids real pathways through apprenticeships, sport and local programs we prevent crime before it begins. I will push for more youth spaces, mentoring and support services that keep our next generation connected and off the streets.

“It is not anti-truck, it is pro-safety and pro-planning for the future.”
